Jordynne Grace followed up her Royal Rumble appearance by targeting a pair of champions at NXT Vengeance Day last night in Washington, D.C.

Stephanie Vaquer opened the show by capturing the women’s North American championship from Fallon Henley.

Vaquer, who hails from Chile, fought off Henley’s Fatal Influence teammates to win the match with a Spiral Tap from the top rope.

Giulia, who starred in her native Japan before arriving in WWE, defeated Bayley, Roxanne Perez, and Cora Jade in the main event.

Giulia pinned Perez after a Northern Lights Bomb to retain the NXT women’s title.

Vaquer joined Giulia in the ring, and the show seemed to be over. But wait! Grace appeared to face off with both champions before the stream ended.

OBA IS STILL CHAMP

Oba Femi retained the NXT championship by defeating Grayson Waller and Austin Theory in a Triple Threat match.

Waller and Theory, who team up as A-Town Down Under, kept getting in each other’s way before Femi pinned Waller with the Fall From Grace powerbomb.

TAG TEAM GREATNESS

Nathan Frazier & Axiom continued their long reign as NXT tag team champions with a victory over Josh Briggs & Yoshiki Inamura.

After the bout, both teams were attacked by a mystery group of four wrestlers dressed in black.

Later in the show, this same quartet raised the stakes by attacking Femi after his NXT title defense and planting him with a four-man powerbomb.

GRUDGE MATCHES

Eddy Thorpe upset Trick Williams in a strap match for the biggest win of his WWE career. Since Thorpe is Native American, he must be the “master of the strap match” like a modern-day Wahoo McDaniel.

Je’Von Evans was unable to gain vengeance on Ethan Page for breaking his jaw. Page won the match after a Twist of Fate.

Ricky Starks said he will sign his WWE contact on Tuesday’s episode of NXT.

Starks and Jordynne Grace will boost to the NXT brand heading into the Stand & Deliver event at WrestleMania weekend.
