WWE Raw in Scotland: John Cena Vows to Retire With 17th World Title
John Cena unleashed another verbal tirade on the fans to open Monday Afternoon Raw from Glasgow, Scotland.
He talked about the fans hating the WWE championship “spinner belt” that he debuted 20 years ago.
Cena said he would “ruin wrestling” and stick it to the fans by winning his 17th World title from Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania. He would make the fans forget fellow 16-time champion Ric Flair.
Cena said the WWE will have to invent a new “toy belt” after he takes the title into retirement.
Rhodes showed up and dared Cena to take the title now. When Cena declined, Cody said his challenger would also walk away from WrestleMania empty-handed.
