WWE Raw: A Time to Talk, A Time to Fight
The last Raw episode before WrestleMania usually features a lot of talking for one reason: avoiding an injury before the big show.
So while wrestling fans enjoyed a few matches, they also heard a lot of hype for the two WrestleMania 41 shows this weekend in Las Vegas.
Gunther told the fans that he has been a champion for 80 percent of his time in WWE.
He will defend the World title against Royal Rumble winner Jey Uso, who delivered a brief message later in the show.
Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky talked about their Triple Threat match for Skyâs World womenâs title. Sky spoke in her native Japanese.
While Belair vs. Ripley would be a great match, Sky is a deserving champion and said she should not be forgotten.
The final talking segment focused on Saturdayâs main event: CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins.
Reigns said Paul Heyman âbetrayedâ him by agreeing to appear in Punkâs corner.
Heyman said he was only returning the favor from Punk helping the Original Bloodline in the WarGames match at Survivor Series.
Of course, a brawl ensued. Rollins stood tall over Punk and Reigns to end the show.
LETâS GO TO THE RING!
Bayley defeated Liv Morgan in the opening match. Bayley & Lyra Valkyria will challenge Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez for the WWE womenâs tag team title at Mania.
Rey Mysterio defeated Julius Creed with a springboard splash. After the match, El Grande Americano wiped out Rey Jr. and Dragon Lee with a loaded-mask headbutt.
AJ Styles defeated Karrion Kross with a Phenomenal forearm. Styles will battle Logan Paul at WrestleMania.
Finn Balor defeated Penta by disqualification. Penta didnât do anything wrong; Bron Breakker just attacked his opponent.
Dominik Mysterio, Penta, and Balor will challenge Breakker for the Intercontinental title at Mania.
John Cena will appear on the âWrestleMania Smackdownâ this Friday. The show will also feature the annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royale.
