Wings Announce WNBA Draft Watch Party
The Dallas Wings want you to be a part of history.
Dallas announced that they will be hosting a 2025 WNBA Draft watch party at the College Park Center.
The 2025 WNBA draft will take place on April 14th, 2025 at 6:30 PM CST but doors at the CPC will open at 5:30 for the watch party.
Tickets to the draft party are free of charge and will first open to Dallas Wings season ticket members on March 31 and then to the general public on a first come first serve basis starting on April 1st. Fans will be able to claim their free tickets on the Dallas Wings website.
In addition to the draft, attendees will hear from Dallas Wings Front Office Staff throughout the night, meet the new Flight Crew – the Wings’ high-flying, hip-hop-driven dance, and hype crew – and team mascot Lightning, and play family-friendly games. Concession stands will be open throughout the evening to purchase food and beverages.
2025 will be a historic draft for the Wings who will select first overall for the second time in the history of their franchise.
Back in 2021, the Wings drafted Texas center Charli Collier with the top pick after they made a trade for it. 2025 marks the first time the Wings have won the draft lottery to secure the league’s top pick.
Uconn point guard Paige Bueckers is the presumptive number one overall pick as the Wings will most likely look to her to help turn things around following a 9-31 season.
The Wings will tip off play with two preseason matchups before the 2025 season. The first of which will be played at Notre Dame against the Las Vegas Aces on May 2nd and the second coming against Japan’s Toyota Antelopes on May 10th.
Dallas will begin their 2025 season at the College Park Center when they take on the Minnesota Lynx on May 16th.
