WATCH: ‘Good Guy Saquon’ Was A Team Player At The Parade

It has been about a week since the Philadelphia Eagles DECIMATED the ‘Fighting Taylor Swifts’ out of Kansas City, and the football world is STILL buzzing about the EPIC BEAT-DOWN on Super Bowl Sunday. It was a wonderful moment for football fans across the country, as we saw the ‘evil empire’ consisting of ‘Kermit the Frog’ and ‘Taylor Swift’s Boyfriend’ get it’s doors blown off in one of the most one-sided Super Bowls in recent memory.

It was an EPIC win for the BIRDS, which lead to yet another EPIC parade for the ‘City of Brotherly Love.’ The Lombardi Trophy FINALLY took a trip through different streets, instead of the red and white clad roads of the city that’s not really in Kansas. And during that trip……we saw something that really helped cement the good nature of this team, and one of it’s star players.

Ladies and Gentlemen……Saquon Barkley!

That’s right, football fans; ‘Good Guy Saquon’ may, in fact, be the biggest “team player” in the history of the sport. During the BIRDS’ celebration through the streets of Philly, the former New York Giant noticed one of the team’s ball boys hanging out in the crowd. This individual (reportedly) was left off of the bus for some reason, and was not allowed to participate in the monumental event.

Did this stop Saquon though? HELL NO! As you can see in the clip, Saquon literally PULLED the ball boy out of the crowd, and made him a part of the festivities. He made sure that this human, who is as much of a part of the team as anyone else, was a part of the organization’s biggest moment of the year; the championship parade.

THIS, ladies and gentlemen……this is why Saquon Barkley is one of the coolest cats in the entire league. This is just another example of why the best running back in the league should go down as an all-time great. His willingness to make sure that everyone participates, and gets the respect they deserve, is something that makes him one of the most genuine human beings on the planet.

Whether it’s pulling ball-boys out of parade crowds, or forgoing breaking his career rushing record to “let the young boys eat.”

The former Penn State back is just the EPITOME of class, and John Mara out in New York dropped the ball when it came to keeping him in the blue and white.

Congrats to you, Saquon, and the rest of the Philadelphia Eagles’ organization. This was a well-deserved win! You did the country proud knocking off Taylor Swifts merry band of misfits in the Super Bowl. But in the end, as always…..what do I know? I’m just a guy from the Midwest, with a beer and a laptop, trying to make sense of this world.
