Beck homers again but Rox offense falls short against the Reds
In a high-scoring contest at Coors Field on April 25, 2025, the Colorado Rockies fell to the Cincinnati Reds 8β7, marking their 21st loss of the season. Despite a spirited offensive effort, the Rockies were unable to overcome defensive lapses and bullpen struggles that ultimately sealed their fate.β
The Rockies showcased resilience at the plate, with left fielder Jordan Beck leading the charge. Beck went 2-for-3, launching two solo home runs and drawing two walks, bringing his season total to five homers, all of which have come over the last three games. He is the sixth Rockies player to hit at least five home runs in a three-game span and the third player in franchise history to record back-to-back multi home run games First baseman Michael Toglia also contributed significantly, going 3-for-4 with a two-run ground-rule double in the third inning and an RBI single in the fifth, totaling three RBIs for the game.
Designated hitter Hunter Goodman added to the offensive surge with a 2-for-3 performance, scoring three runs and drawing two walks. The Rockies managed to tie the game at 6β6 in the fifth inning, but again felt short as they went 4-for-13 with runners in scoring position. They drew a season-high seven walks as a group and also struck out seven times.

First baseman Spencer Steer added a two-run homer in the third inning, his second of the season.
