This week, Evan and Skyer are gearing up for spring training as the Colorado Rockies pitchers and catchers report to Arizona this week! What are the storylines and battles to watch, and how will the roster ultimately take shape? It’s also time for our next player projection as we talk about left fielder Nolan Jones. After an electric rookie season in 2023, Jones struggled mightily in 2024. Injuries plagued the young outfielder and were at the root of his offensive struggles as he also lost the mental battle with himself. Jones put a lot of pressure on himself and the effects were palpable. With a plethora of young outfielders waiting in the wings, the Rockies are hoping that Jones isn’t a fluke and that 2024 was just an off-year. What do we expect from him in 2025 and can he regain the success he displayed before or is 2024 the reality of who Jones is as a player?
