Rockets Complete Comback, Down Suns
The Houston Rockets were pretty much down for the entirety of Wednesday night’s contest with the Phoenix Suns.
However, that didn’t matter as Houston used a late 4th quarter run to take the lead and eventually win 119-111.
Amen Thompson had his fourth career triple double finishing with 18 points, 11 assists, and 10 rebounds.
Although, it was Tari Eason who led the way for Houston as he got the start and dropped 25 points.
Jalen Green struggled shooting the ball finishing at just 8-21 but still managed to finish with 22 points.
Dillion Brooks and Alperen Sengun had 18 and 17 respectively putting every Rockets starter in double figures with at least 17 points.
Despite being short-handed, the Suns gave the Rockets a close call behind 37 points from Kevin Durant.
Bol Bol knocked down a three late in the fourth to extend the Suns lead but after that Green rattled off five straight points and Dillion Brooks knocked down consecutive three-pointers to cap off an 11-2 Rockets run.
There will be no time for rest for the Rockets as they will take on the Golden State Warriors tonight for the final game before the NBA All-Star Break.
