3. Washington Commanders
The Commanders progressed quicker than expected with rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels. He turned into a star right away and it ended with the team making a run to the NFC Championship Game. Adam Peters and the Commanders entered the offseason with a wild aggression to take the team to Super Bowl heights. This included making trades for Deebo Samuel and Laremy Tunsil. The Commanders brought back veterans Zach Ertz and Bobby Wagner, who served as leaders of the team. Daniels and the offense will have plenty to work with as Samuel joins Terry McLaurin on the outside.
2. Chicago Bears
The Bears came into the offseason looking to hire a new coach and landed Ben Johnson, who was the most-coveted option for two years. He now joins Caleb Williams, who has a revamped offensive line. Joe Thuney and Jonah Jackson were brought in to take over at guards while Drew Dalman completes the interior at center. GM Ryan Poles wanted to improve the trenches on both sides. This led to edge Dayo Odeyingbo and tackle Grady Jarrett.
1. New England Patriots
The Patriots made a major splash by hiring Mike Vrabel to be the new head coach to work with Drake Maye. From there, Vrabel was tasked with adding new talent. Milton Williams was the major addition along the defensive line and the dominoes continued. Harold Landry and K’Lavon Chaisson were added with Williams on the defensive line while Robert Spillane and Carlton Davis spruced up the defense as well. New England also wanted to improve the offensive line with a young quarterback. Morgan Moses and Garrett Bradbury will become starters right away. The final piece was Stefon Diggs on the outside.
