Rangers Goalie Reaches 400th Career Victory
Sports can be poetic at times and can be poetic in many different ways. It truly depends on the story. For goaltender Jonathan Quick, he made history and against one of his former teams.

Jonathan Quick defeated the Vegas Golden Knights in a 4-2 victory and the victory was the 400th of his career. Quick had a short stint with the Golden Knights, so the victory is bittersweet. Also, the victory is historic.
Quick’s Historic Win
It is never easy to win in the NHL and nothing is ever guaranteed. For Quick, his illustrious career now gets forever etched into the history books. Quick became the first American Born goalie to reach the 400 mark. He has the most wins ever by an American Born goalie and the second player behind him is former Sabres goalie Ryan Miller. Among active goalies, Connor Hellebuyck is behind him with 308.
Quick becomes just the 15th goalie to surpass the 400 win mark and is 15th all-time in wins. If he continues to see more action, he very well could climb to 12th by the end of the season. This is phenomenal stuff for Quick, who has quietly revitalized his career with his childhood team in the Rangers. This win here just continues to cement his legacy in the sport and build upon the accolades that he already has.
Quick is not just a winner in the regular season, but also the playoffs. He sits in the top 30 in playoff wins and had one of the best playoff runs of any goalie in NHL history. His run in 2012, not only saw him capture the Stanley Cup, but also the Conn Smythe Trophy. He had a .946 save percentage and a 1.41 goals against average.
The Rangers got a must need victory over the Golden Knights and Quick got his shine at the end of it.
