NXT Roadblock: Championship Night in the Big Apple

Stephanie Vaquer is a double champion after defeating Giulia in the main event of NXT Roadblock last night in New York City.

Vaquer was defending her women’s North American title while challenging for Giulia’s NXT women’s title.

She hit her SVB finisher twice for the victory.

Vaquer is the first wrestler from Chile to win a title in WWE, and now she has two of them.

STILL HARDY AFTER ALL THESE YEARS

Matt & Jeff Hardy are pioneers of high-flying tag team wrestling, and they beat a younger version of themselves last night.

Nathan Frazier & Axiom had been unstoppable as NXT tag team champions until meeting the legendary brothers.

Jeff Hardy hit the Swanton bomb on Frazier to retain the TNA tag team championship.

Oba Femi retained the NXT championship with a win over Moose, whose TNA X-Division title was not on the line.

BIG CITY STREET FIGHT

Je’Von Evans finally gained revenge on “All Ego” Ethan Page by winning their street fight.

Evans won with the springboard Diamond cutter onto a chair.

After the match, the unnamed group that attacked wrestlers at Vengeance Day gave Evans a tandem powerbomb.

At least we don’t have two unnamed groups running around, as Shawn Spears’ faction is now called The Culling.

A NEW CHALLENGER?

Jordynne Grace defeated Roxanne Perez with the Juggernaut Driver.

Grace may get a title shot at Vaquer at Stand & Deliver during WrestleMania weekend, while Perez should move up to Raw or Smackdown.
