Cavs Dominate the Magic for their 48th win, 122-82

On Tuesday February 25th at 7:30 pm eastern time, the 47-10 Cleveland Cavaliers traveled to Orlando Florida to play the 29-30 Orlando Magic at the Kia Center. The Cavaliers last game was a win at home over the Memphis Grizzlies 129-123 last Sunday. The Magic’s last game was a 110-90 win in Orlando over the Washington Wizards last Sunday as well. For the Cavaliers Darius Garland was listed as questionable with a hip contusion. He did not play in this game. Out for the Magic was Jalen Suggs, Moritz Wagner, Mac McClung and Ethan Thompson. This game was a nationally televised feature matchup on the TNT Network. The Cavaliers were riding a seven-game win streak while holding the best record in the NBA. The question is can they continue this high level of play and intensity without a letdown?

When the game started the Cavaliers showed no signs of a letdown in front of a national television audience on the TNT Network. After the first quarter of play the Cavaliers led the Magic 34-16. In the second quarter Orlando did make a run. But the Cavaliers still led the Magic at halftime 57-43. In the third quarter. The Cavaliers continued their dominant level of play and led going into the fourth quarter 92-66. In the fourth and final quarter the Cavaliers did not let up and went to win their 48th game of the season 122-82. The Cleveland Cavaliers are now 48-10 for the season.

The Cavaliers’ leading scorer was Ty Jerome with 20 points and 4 three-point shots made. Every active Cavaliers player scored that night. Up next for the 48-10 Cleveland Cavaliers is a trip to Boston Massachusetts to play the defending World Champion 42-16 Boston Celtics on Friday February 28th at 7:30 pm eastern time, at the TD Garden. This game is a much-anticipated playoff preview for the Eastern Conference.  The Cavaliers lost their last game against the Celtics. But this time the Cleveland Cavaliers have added De’Andre Hunter, which will make this playoff preview even more interesting.
