Naomi Appears in “Queen of the Ring,” Admits to Attacking Jade Cargill

Naomi had a big day yesterday.

She appeared in “Queen of the Ring,” a major Hollywood movie about women’s wrestling pioneer Mildred Burke.

At night, she was on Smackdown, as Bianca Belair called her to the ring to explain herself.

Belair wondered, why did Jade Cargill storm to the ring at Elimination Chamber and beat up Naomi?

Was it because Naomi had attacked Cargill and replaced her as Belair’s tag team championship partner?

Tearfully, Naomi said yes. She did it for Bianca.

Belair walked out of the ring in disgust … just in time for Cargill to arrive and destroy Naomi again.

NEW US CHAMPION

LA Knight recaptured the US championship from Shinsuke Nakamura the main event, sending the Philadelphia fans home happy.

Knight had won the title from Logan Paul at SummerSlam before losing it to Nakamura at Survivor Series in November.

WWE women’s champion Tiffany Stratton defeated Piper Niven in a non-title match with the Prettiest Moonsault Ever.

TAG TEAM BATTLES

Pretty Deadly beat Motor City Machine Guns and Los Garza in a Triple Threat match. They will challenge the winners of next week’s #DIY-Street Profits match for the WWE tag team title.

Braun Strowman defeated Solo Sikoa by disqualification when Tama Tonga interfered. Jacob Fatu came out next, but Braun chokeslammed him through a table.

Drew McIntyre defeated Jimmy Uso. After the bout, Damian Priest brawled with McIntyre, who had attacked him before the show.

LET’S GET HARDCORE

Chelsea Green dressed up as Cactus Jack to defend the women’s US title against Michin in a street fight. Remember, they were in Philly.

Alba Fyre helped Green win by giving Michin a Canadian Destroyer on a chair. Fyre’s partner Isla Dawn has been released, so Fyre seems to be joining Green and Piper Niven.
