Jalen Green Leads Red Hot Rockets Past Hawks

After having their nine-game losing streak snapped at the hands of the Denver Nuggets on Sunday, the Houston Rockets got right back into the win column.

Houston took down the Atlanta Hawks 121-114 at the Toyota Center to close their brief two-game homestand.

The Rockets took the lead with 1:13 left to play in the first quarter and did not trail the rest of the night.

Jalen Green led the way for the Rockets, scoring 32 points, but that wasn’t the only way he contributed.

Green snagged an impressive 11 rebounds, four assists, and two steals during an active night on the defensive end.

Fred VanVleet continued his strong play, dropping 21 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists finishing with a +13 rating.

Alperen Sengun finished with a near double-double, dropping 18 points and snagging 9 rebounds.

Tari Eason continued his strong play since entering the starting lineup scoring 10 points and a team high 14 rebounds.

Dillion Brooks shot just 2-7 from deep but still finished with 10 points, 2 assists, and 2 steals to go along with it.

Off the bench, it was once again Jabari Smith Jr who turned in a strong performance, scoring 17 points.

The Rockets will hit the road and be back in action tomorrow night when they take on the Utah Jazz.
