Baseball Bets: Boston Red Sox Edition
Rafael Devers To Get a Hit (-200)
Sounds crazy right? Yes he’s made history in the worst way possible, but things are beginning to look up. Devers has put together more competitive at bats and is generating walks and is getting on base. He is not chasing and is working counts, and it’s good baby steps.
Devers has hits in the last two games and now that he’s beginning to find his grove, he will likely get a hit in his first game in front of the Fenway Faithful.
Give him the Trea Turner ovation and show him love. He deserves it.
Alex Bregman 2+ Total Bases +105)
If there is one player that was built for Fenway Park, it is Alex Bregman. This is a player that has an OPS above 1.000 at Fenway for his career and he is going to make a living putting dents into the Green Monster.
Bregman is coming off a monstrous game, going 3-5 and with 3 RBI’s and having his first home run as a member of the Red Sox. A juicy matchup against Eric Fedde awaits and I can envision a juicy double off the monster this afternoon. Book it.
Red Sox Money Line (-125)
I like Walker Buehler on the mound in this one. I think the Red Sox coming off a huge series victory over the Orioles is huge and gives them confidence. Last year they weren’t good on Fridays at Fenway, but this is the home opener and gotta imagine they walk away with a win. It wont be easy, as the Cardinals are off to a really strong start and their offense has been good. But I believe in the Red Sox this game and the series.
