AEW Collision: Megan Bayne Steps Up to “Timeless” Toni Storm

“Timeless” Toni Storm is ready for a large challenge after finishing her emotionally charged feud with Mariah May.

“The Megasus” Megan Bayne has been steamrolling the AEW women’s division. She could challenge Storm for the AEW women’s title at the Dynasty pay-per-view on April 6.

Last night on Collision in Las Vegas, Bayne defeated former champion Thunder Rosa. She continued with a post-match attack until Storm and Kris Statlander made the save.

Bayne will face Statlander on Dynamite this Wednesday night.

The main event of Dynasty will be Swerve Strickland challenging the winner of Wednesday’s match between Jon Moxley and Cope for the AEW World title.

Moxley attacked Swerve’s leg with a crowbar on Collision.

INTERNATIONAL FOUR-WAY

Ricochet used his feet on the ropes to beat Katsuyori Shibata and claim a spot in the four-way match on Dynamite.

The winner of that match will challenge Kenny Omega for the International title at Dynasty.

Mark Davis upset Mark Briscoe to claim the final spot in the match with help from the Murder Machines (Lance Archer & Brian Cage).

Davis will face Ricochet, Orange Cassidy, and Speedball Mike Bailey on Dynamite.

The Murder Machines won a squash match, only to have Mark Briscoe and Powerhouse Hobbs eject them from the ring.

Hobbs had already won a quick match over Griff Garrison, a member of Ring Of Honor’s Frat House faction.

TAG TEAM MAIN EVENT

FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) defeated Kyle O’Reilly & Roderick Strong in the main event, but the post-match attention centered on Adam Cole and TNT champion Daniel Garcia.

Cole and Garcia will battle for the title in the first half of Collision next week. It’s called Slam Dunk Saturday, and it will start after March Madness.

The second half of the show will be Slam Dunk Sunday, featuring Hologram & Komander vs. The Beast Mortos & Dralistico.

Hologram teamed with Top Flight last night to defeat The Infantry & Lee Moriarty.
