AEW Collision: Big Matches Set for Revolution Pay-Per-View
AEW wasted no time in setting up matches last night for the Revolution pay-per-view on March 9 in Los Angeles.
Mariah May attacked “Timeless” Toni Storm at the beginning of Collision and demanded a “Hollywood Ending” rematch for the AEW women’s title.
Storm had defeated her one week earlier in front of an adoring crowd at Grand Slam Australia to become a four-time champion.
Another new match for Revolution is Kyle Fletcher vs. Will Ospreay in a steel cage.
CONTENDING TAG TEAMS
The Murder Machines (Brian Cage & Lance Archer) dragged a couple of guys from the backstage area and destroyed them in the ring.
They demanded a shot at The Hurt Syndicate’s AEW tag team title. MVP said they needed to beat a real team, which was later identified as The Outrunners.
The Death Riders retained the AEW trios title with a win over Daniel Garcia & 2.0. PAC forced Angelo Parker to submit to the Brutalizer.
A post-match brawl saw The Undisputed Kingdom and Cope hit the ring. Cope walloped PAC with a double chair slam (The Con-chair-to) … twice!
OTHER ACTION
Hologram returned to action with a high-flying win over The Beast Mortos. Komander saved Hologram from a post-match attack.
Gabe Kidd made his Collision debut after his impressive bout with Kenny Omega at Wrestle Dynasty. Kidd beat The Butcher after a piledriver.
Julia Hart won a hard-hitting battle with Queen Aminata. Hart used an Octopus Hold for the submission victory.
Max Caster lost his third straight “Best Wrestler Alive” open challenge, this time to Brody King.
In the main event, Chris Jericho successfully defended the Ring Of Honor title against former champion Bandido.
When I announced for ROH in its early days, I never thought Chris Jericho would hold the title … especially not in 2025.
