BETSLIP ROUNDUP #2: Someone Went BACK-TO-BACK!

As one of the founding members of the ‘Just The BetSlips‘ podcast, I can tell you right now that we LOVE to see people win. We love it when our fans send in their winners, and tell us all about what went into their big paydays. It’s something that brings joy to our lives, and reminds us that we IN FACT have one of the coolest jobs in the world.

This sentiment was certainly true last week, when I talked about our friend of the program Andy’s BIG WIN in the first edition of the ‘BetSlip Roundup.’ But now, in this new edition……we are RUNNING IT BACK with the KING himself. Just LOOK at the generational run that this man is on…

Six players, six home runs, two parlays, and roughly $3700. You CAN NOT find a hotter gambler than Andy right now. You CAN NOT find someone who’s having a better string of success, than this man right here. The thought of hitting ONE HR parlay is insane. But TWO, with one of them being a free bet?!? That’s just out of this world.

The best part is, the three “dingers” that made up this marvelous parlay were some of the biggest bombs of the night. For starters, there was this BEAUTY of a smash from A’s OF Brent Rooker, that went high and deep into that Wisconsin night.

Then, the great Fernando Tatis Jr. of the San Diego Padres continued his hot start to the season by putting this BOMB onto the train tracks in Houston.

And then finally, there was this BLAST by the San Francisco Giants’ 3B Matt Chapman, which ended up being the shot with the biggest odds on his parlay (+350).

Simply put; you can’t make this stuff up. If you’ve made even ONE wager in your entire life, then you probably know that hitting a HR bet is arguably one of the hardest feats to accomplish. But to hit SIX, in the span of two parlays? That’s another level of greatness! So much so, that I felt like I HAD TO ask Andy his thoughts on accomplishing such an amazing feat;

“As far as hitting back-to-back goes, there is no better way to look at it than “when it rains, it pours!” I definitely did more research on these guys, and Chapman I’ll admit I went off of “feel.” The Los Angeles Angeles are so bad, and Kyle Hendricks throwing in the 80’s usually is like a HR Derby for guys!

Always trust your gut…..and DON’T TAKE THE CASH OUT!!!!”

How can you not get romantic about baseball? How can you not get romantic about gambling? This is just…..surreal. Once again, thank you to our good friend Andy for sharing these wins with us. We appreciate you following along, and being a fan of the program. And as always, to the reader; if YOU would like to be featured in a piece of ‘Just The BetSlips’ content, then make sure to send in your winners to @JustTheBetSlips on X(Twitter)….and we might just pick your slip.

But in the end, as always….what do I know? I’m just a guy from the Midwest, with a beer and a laptop, trying to make sense of this world.
