Baseball Bets: Happy Hump Day!

Joe Ryan 6+ Strikeouts (+130)

This one is lofty, but I like this bet. The Kansas City royals do have a very good offense and it’s spearheaded by Bobby Witt Jr. although, last night they did face Pablo Lopez last night and they did manage to strikeout. Lopez finished with 6 strikeouts through 4.2 innings of work.

Through two starts, Ryan has 11 strikeouts and has a 26.2 strikeout rate. The good news is that he does not walk batters, so it’s strikeout or hit. It’ll be interesting to see how this plays out but overall I like Ryan today for a bold pick.

Phillies Moneyline (+120)

Today I am picking the Fighting Phils to beat the Braves and yes they are the underdogs. Soley picking this one cause of the pitching matchup. And for me it is in favor of the Phillies.

Walker is 1-0 and with a 0.00 ERA, whereas Holmes is 0-1 with a 7.20 ERA. Against a Phillies lineup that can do damage this could be a recipe for disaster for Holmes.

Milwaukee Brewers Moneyline (-162)

This is as simple as I can place it. The Rockies to me are the Rockies, will compete but still not very good. The Brewers have been quite good since their opening series against the Yankees and a win should be completely in the cards.
