After two years as Ring Of Honor women’s champion, Athena is ready to ride the Mone Train.

Athena and Mercedes Mone faced off in a tag team match on last night’s episode of AEW Collision, previewing a potential bout in the Owen Hart Cup tournament.

Mone is undefeated in AEW, holding the TBS title and three other worldwide championships.

She teamed with Harley Cameron (and her Mini Mone puppet) to face Julia Hart & Athena.

Hart locked in the Octopus Hold on Cameron for the victory. Mone backed away instead of fighting Athena.

OTHER COLLISION BOUTS

The Don Callis Family (Kyle Fletcher & Konosuke Takeshita) opened the show by defeating Powerhouse Hobbs & Tomohiro Ishii. Fletcher pinned Ishii with his own move, the brainbuster.

Max Caster lost another “Best Wrestler Alive Open Challenge.” Mark Briscoe pinned him after a Jay Driller.

Top Flight won a crowd-pleasing tag team match with their archrivals, CRU (Lio Rush & Action Andretti). AR Fox helped Top Flight in a post-match brawl before Nick Wayne attacked him.

PAC defeated Cash Wheeler in a preview of the AEW trios title match at Dynasty between Rated-FTR and The Death Riders.

Speedball Mike Bailey defeated Dralistico, only to be attacked by Ricochet after the match.

DYNASTY LINEUP

Jon Moxley will defend the AEW World title against Swerve Strickland tonight at the Dynasty pay-per-view in Philadelphia.

Adam Cole will challenge Daniel Garcia for the TNT title with no countouts and no outside interference.

“Timeless” Toni Storm will put the AEW women’s title on the line against Megan Bayne.

Other title matches include:

·      Kenny Omega vs. Speedball Mike Bailey vs. Ricochet for the International title

·      Ring Of Honor champion Chris Jericho vs. Bandido (title vs. mask)

·      FTR & Cope vs. Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta & PAC for the AEW trios title
