2025 NFL Draft: Top 10 QB Prospects

The 2025 NFL Draft is just weeks away and all eyes are on the quarterbacks.

The draft will take place from April 24-26 and some of the top picks in the draft will come from under center. This is not a year where quarterbacks have been highly-touted. Instead, the teams seem desperate to take a young option and this could lead to mistakes.

Either way, we will see signal callers taken across all three days of the draft. Below, take a look at the Top 10 QB prospects this year.

2025 NFL Draft Top QBs

1. Cam Ward, Miami

Ward has played a lot of football over the course of his career, which have proven to be valuable. He transferred to Miami from Washington State after putting up big-time numbers. Ward excels at throwing over the middle and has the arm strength to get the ball to the sideline. He is not considered a runner but is mobile in the pocket.

2. Jaxson Dart, Ole Miss

Dart has climbed up draft boards in recent weeks. There is a chance that he goes in the Top 10 due to his dual-threat abilities. He is a multi-year starter for the Rebels that can make plays with his legs and is not afraid to throw the ball downfield.

3. Shedeur Sanders, Colorado

Sanders has been considered one of the two best quarterbacks in the draft but comes with many questions marks. Aside from off the field, Sanders is known to hold onto the ball too long, which will result in sacks at the next level. Other than that, Sanders is a physical quarterback with a big-time arm that can compete at the next level.

4. Tyler Shough, Louisville

At 6-foot-5, 220 pounds, Shough has the ideal build for a pocket-passer in the NFL. His film shows impressive downfield throws where he uses his arm strength to throw into tight windows. Shough has a history of injuries during his time at Texas Tech but remained on the field in 2024 leading Louisville.

5. Will Howard, Ohio State

Howard transferred to Ohio State and made his one year in Columbus count by winning a National Championship. There are many question marks about Howard at the next level. He is a mobile quarterback with a strong arm that can make every throw but his consistency brings some pause. Howard can get off track and might struggle with turnovers early in his career.

6. Jalen Milroe, Alabama

7. Quinn Ewers, Texas

8. Kyle McCord, Syracuse

9. Dillon Gabriel, Oregon

10. Kurtis Rourke, Indiana
