AEW Collision: TNT and Trios Titles Defended in Post-March Madness Shows
Basketball fans who also like wrestling just had a great weekend.
AEW presented an hour on Collision on both Saturday and Sunday nights after the second round of March Madness Basketball.
SLAM DUNK SATURDAY
Daniel Garcia retained the TNT title in the opener by battling Adam Cole to a 20-minute draw.
Max Caster issued another “Best Wrestler Alive” challenge and lost quickly again. This time, Hook beat him with the Redrum submission hold.
Julia Hart defeated Queen Aminata in the rubber match of their trilogy.
In the main event, Konosuke Takeshita teamed with the Murder Machines (Lance Archer & Brian Cage) to beat Powerhouse Hobbs, Mark Briscoe & Rocky Romero.
SLAM DUNK SUNDAY
The Death Riders (Wheeler Yuta, PAC & Claudio Castagnoli) retained the AEW trios championship in the opener with a win over Top Flight & AR Fox.
After the bout, the CRU (Lio Rush & Action Andretti) attacked Top Flight.
Bandido defeated Johnny TV and demanded that Chris Jericho return the mask of his brother, Gravity.
Jericho came to the ring with Big Bill and Bryan Keith. Bandido punched Jericho, grabbed the mask, and left. Hey, he’s a Bandido!
Harley Cameron scored a quick win over Aminah Belmont with “Her Finishing Move.”
Hologram & Komander thrilled the late-night Lucha Libre fans by winning the main event over Dralistico & The Beast Mortos.
DYNAMITE LINEUP
Toni Storm & Thunder Rosa will face Megan Bayne & Penelope Ford on Dynamite this Wednesday. Other Dynamite bouts include:
· Kenny Omega vs. Blake Christian
· Mark Briscoe vs. Konosuke Takeshita
· Powerhouse Hobbs vs. Mark Davis
