Best Quarterback Fits For New York Giants In 2025

The New York Giants are waiting to add their next quarterback.

Is this the most appealing destination? No. That means the options come down to young, future options or a veteran looking to add another year to his career. Both are available this offseason and the Giants have been linked to many.

Below, check out the best options for the Giants at the quarterback position for the upcoming season.

3. Russell Wilson

Russell Wilson would be a major waste of time. He showed in Pittsburgh that he does not have much left. Forget his win-loss record. The Steelers are set up much better than the Giants on both sides of the ball. Wilson struggles to escape the pocket like he used to and will take sacks at a high rate behind that offensive line. Pair that with the unnecessary attention he will bring, Wilson should be near the bottom of the list.

2. Aaron Rodgers

Aaron Rodgers is coming off two unimpressive years with the New York Jets. He might have put up decent stats last yer but was unable to win games. What do you think he’s going to do with this Giants’ roster? The allure of Rodgers is attractive to a desperate head coach and GM but what a disaster this would be. The Giants should stay far away from Rodgers but recent events show that this might be the top option in the front office.

1. Cam Ward/Shedeur Sanders

We might two options here because it is unlikely that the Giants will land Cam Ward, unless they decide to trade up to No. 1. Shedeur Sanders comes with many question marks but the Giants need to find their next young quarterback. It does not make much sense to kick the can down the road with a veteran option. If the young quarterback looks viable, Daboll will keep his job. This team is not ready to win. Bring in a young quarterback and attempt to develop him.
