Cavs win 14th in a row beat Bucks,112-100

On Sunday March 9th at 8pm eastern time the 53-10 Cleveland Cavaliers traveled to Milwaukee Wisconsin to play the 36-26 Milwaukee Bucks at the Fiserv Forum. The Cavaliers last game was a 118-117 win on the road against the Charlotte Hornets last Friday. The Bucks last game was a 111-109 loss at home to the Orlando Magic last Friday as well. Out for the Cavaliers was Emoni Bates. Bucks star player Giannis Antetokounmpo was listed as probable with a calf injury. He did play in this game. The Cavaliers currently own the best record in the NBA. They were going for their 54th win of the season and their 14th win in a row.

The first quarter was a high scoring affair and after one quarter of play the Cavaliers led the Bucks by a score of 34-32. In the second quarter the Cleveland Cavaliers started to pull away from the Milwaukee Bucks and they led at halftime 62-52. In the third quarter the Cavaliers kept up the pace as the Bucks cut into the Cavaliers lead. And at the end of the third quarter the Cavaliers still led the Bucks 84-77. In the fourth and final quarter the Cavaliers again pulled away from the Bucks and went on to win their 14th game in a row and 54th game of the season 112-100.

The Cavaliers’ leading scorer was Max Strus with 17 points in 24 minutes. The Cavaliers also had 5 players with double digit scoring in this game. Up next for the 54-10 Cleveland Cavaliers is hosting the 21-42 Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday March 11th at 7pm eastern time at the Rocket Arena in downtown Cleveland Ohio. On two other occasions this season have the Cleveland Cavaliers won 15 games in a row. On Tuesday they will be going for a third 15 game win streak. The way this Cavaliers team is playing right now, this win streak will be more than 15 games.
