A night of three championship matches ended with a shocking victory for Iyo Sky.

“The Genius of the Sky” upset Rhea Ripley to capture the World women’s championship last night on Monday Night Raw from Buffalo, N.Y.

When Bianca Belair won the Elimination Chamber on Saturday night, fans started anticipating a WrestleMania clash between two of the most dominant women in WWE.

Instead, Sky punched her ticket to the big dance. Ripley was distracted by Bianca, who was cheering for both competitors.

That allowed Sky to hit a huracanrana, followed by the Over the Moonsault to win the championship.

MISSION NOT ACCOMPLISHED

Before he went to Mexico to learn the secrets of Lucha Libre, Chad Gable instructed the members of American Made to win championship gold before he returned.

Ivy Nile tried to win the women’s Intercontinental title from Lyra Valkyria, but she lost after Lyra hit the Nightwing.

Brutus & Julius Creed tried next, but they lost their World tag team championship match to The War Raiders.

ONE ANGRY PUNK

CM Punk stormed to the ring at the beginning of the show and insulted John Cena and The Rock for turning on Cody Rhodes at Elimination Chamber.

Punk then turned his anger toward Seth Rollins, whose interference caused him to lose to Cena in the Chamber.

Rollins and Punk battled all over the arena. They will meet next week in a steel cage match at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

DOMINANT CHAMPION

World champion Gunther won the opening match by defeating Otis with a powerbomb.

A postmatch brawl involved Akira Tozawa, Jey Uso, Austin Theory, and Grayson Waller. It ended with Gunther knocking out Uso with a sleeper hold.

Also next week, AJ Styles will call out Logan Paul for a future match. Rey Mysterio & Dragon Lee will battle The New Day in a tornado match (no tags necessary).
