Chris Jericho Hosts Ring Of Honor Episode on a Cruise Ship

As the Ring Of Honor World champion, Chris Jericho is supposed to be a leader.

What better way to show leadership than to host an episode of ROH on his sixth annual “Rock & Wrestling Rager” cruise?

Jericho didn’t defend the title on the cruise, but he did introduce the 103rd episode of ROH on Honor Club.

LET’S SET SAIL

Former ROH champion Jay Lethal defeated Mason Madden of MxM Collection, which recently stole Sammy Guevara’s tag team title belt.

(Fun fact: I announced Lethal’s first ROH match back in 2003.)

ROH women’s champion Athena gave her minion Billie Starkz a pep talk (“Get it together!”), but it didn’t work.

Harley Cameron beat Starkz to gain momentum for her shot at TBS champion Mercedes Mone on Saturday at Grand Slam Australia.

INTERNATIONAL WATERS

Konosuke Takeshita successfully defended the AEW International title by defeating “Dynamite Kid” Tommy Billington (nephew of the original DK).

The Outrunners, who look right at home on a cruise ship, defeated Grizzled Young Veterans with their Total Recall double-team move.

Ricochet made his ROH television debut, beating Serpentico with the Spirit Gun lariat.

In the main event, Komander defeated Nick Wayne to retain the ROH TV title. The champion put on a captain’s hat (or was it a kaptain’s hat?) before winning the match with a rope-walk splash.

Komander’s next challenger will be Lee Johnson, who recently battled him to a 10-minute draw in a proving ground match.

This weekend, ROH will tape a “Global Wars” episode from Australia, featuring international talent.
