AEW Collision: Undisputed Kingdom Step Up to Face Death Riders
While âThe Rated-R Superstarâ Cope is targeting Jon Moxleyâs AEW World title, the Undisputed Kingdom is after the AEW trios title held by the rest of the Death Riders.
Adam Cole, Roderick Strong, and Kyle OâReilly opened last nightâs Collision episode in Houston, winning a three-way trios match over Shane Taylor Promotions and Daniel Garcia & 2.0.
After the match, the Death Riders trio of Wheeler Yuta, PAC & Claudio Castagnoli attacked the Kingdom. The trios title match will take place next week on Dynamite.
OLD WEST SHOWDOWN
âThe Bounty Hunterâ Bryan Keith had the chance to collect a $200,000 bounty from Chris Jericho, but he lost to the returning Bandido.
They did a âhigh noon showdownâ in the ring, where they took 10 paces away from each other before moving in for the attack.
Another popular luchador returned as an “upgraded version” of Hologram came back to save Komander from an attack by La Faccion Ingobernable (Rush, Dralistico & The Beast Mortos).
LFI won a squash match, as did Dustin Rhodes and Mariah May. After Mayâs match, Toni Stormâs butler Luther appeared, followed by Timeless Toni herself.
SING FOR YOUR SUPPER
Harley Cameron gave the Houston fans a concert, because she loves to sing! Mercedes Mone interrupted and finally granted her a TBS title shot next week.
That match will take place at AEW Grand Slam Australia in Harleyâs hometown of Brisbane. The show will start after the NBA All-Star Weekend telecast.
Thunder Rosa came to the ring with the Houston Texansâ mascot, Toro. Thunder defeated Penelope Ford but got attacked by âThe Megasusâ Megan Bayne.
In the main event, Kyle Fletcher won an outstanding bout over Mark Briscoe. Fletcher hit a top-rope brainbuster for the win.
