AEW Collision: FTR Defeats Death Riders in Street Fight
It’s about time AEW’s heroes did some damage to Jon Moxley and the Death Riders.
FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) defeated Moxley and Wheeler Yuta in a Mid-South street fight on last night’s episode of Collision.
FTR drilled Yuta with a spike piledriver through a table for the victory.
In a related story, “The Rated-R Superstar” Cope issued a challenge to Moxley for the AEW World title at the Revolution pay-per-view on March 8 in Los Angeles.
HER FIRST WIN!
Harley Cameron picked up her first AEW victory by defeating Taya Valkyrie. She then issued a challenge to TBS champion Mercedes Mone, who accepted.
No, wait! It was an impostor Mercedes Mone! The real Mone showed up and said Harley still did not deserve a title match.
Samoa Joe teamed with Hook to defeat Kip Sabian & Nick Wayne of The Patriarchy in the opening match.
Megan Bayne scored a quick win over Hyena Hena. AEW boss Tony Khan announced that Bayne has signed a new contract.
RETURN OF ROH CHAMPIONS
The Beast Mortos squashed Adam Priest, and then Max Caster came out see who would answer his open challenge to the “Best Wrestler Alive.”
Former Ring Of Honor champion Rush came out and mopped the floor with Caster.
Bandido, another former ROH champion, also returned on this show.
Chris Jericho & Bryan Keith beat The Outrunners, and then Big Bill joined in a post-match attack. Bandido came to the rescue and slammed Keith through a table.
Daniel Garcia retained the TNT title with a win over Kyle O’Reilly and Lee Moriarty. A nine-man brawl ensued.
As a result, next week’s Collision will include a three-way bout with The Undisputed Kingdom vs. Shane Taylor Promotions vs. Garcia and 2.0 (Matt Menard & Angelo Parker).
