2025 NFL Draft: Top Suitors For Arizona WR Tetairoa McMillan

The group of wide receivers in the 2025 NFL Draft is deep but certainly top heavy.

At the forefront is Arizona product Tetairoa McMillan. He reached All-American status during his career and turned into one of the top prospects in the draft. At 6-foot-5, McMillan has great size and brings speed as well on the outside. He set an Arizona record with 3,423 career receiving yards while leading the nation in this category.

McMillan came into his final season with the Wildcats as an NFL-ready receiver and now will get the chance to hear his name called on Thursday night.

McMillan is a first-round prospect but the question is, who will take the Arizona receiver?

3. Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears brought in Ben Johnson to be the new head coach and this brings a new level of hope to the offensive side of the ball. Johnson wasted no time in building the offensive line in free agency. The Keenan Allen experiment did not work last year but the Bears still have DJ Moore and Rome Odunze on the outside. The addition of McMillan would give Johnson another trio at receiver, which he had in Detroit. The Bears could be looking to improve the offense further.

2. New York Jets

Who is the No. 2 wide receiver? How long will Garrett Wilson be around? The New York Jets enter another season with major questions marks. Surprise. The Jets picked up Wilson’s fifth-year option, which was expected, but it is unknown if the team will pay him what he wants once he hits free agency. McMillan could act as a No. 2 behind Wilson and eventually turn into his replacement. While Jets’ fans do not want to think about that, this move also benefits the team in the short term as Justin Fields attempts to revitalize his career.

1. Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jacksonville Jaguars have a new head coach in Liam Coen. The former Tampa Bay offense coordinator was hired off a year where the Bus scored nearly 30 points per game. He now joins Trevor Lawrence in Jacksonville where a No. 1 receiver in Brian Thomas Jr. is set in place. Jacksonville used a first-round pick on Thomas Jr. last year and it would not be the worst idea to use another on McMillan. The ceiling is sky-high on the Arizona receiver and it would give Coen another great duo on the outside to work with.
